Soaking/Germinating Nuts

Soaking/Germinating Nuts

Nuts are a very important part of our health, but unfortunately much of the time they are roasted and or/pasteurized.  Make sure to get raw unpasteurized nuts ( and farmers markets are great sources).  Soaking them in water will release enzyme inhibitors and allow life to begin in the nut.  The body responds better to soaked nuts and seeds by far, so don’t forget this!  If you like your nuts and seeds dry, just dehydrate them at under 105 degrees overnight after soaking them and they will be better preserved and, well, dry!

  • Sunflower Seeds: 4 Hours
